LACQUERWARE Our diverse range of glossy vessels, trays and utensils incorporates centuries of Asian lacquer-making tradition. The highly polished finishes are produced by a labor-intensive process of successively layering fruitwood and spun bamboo forms with up to 30 coats of lacquer. A carefully coordinated selection of organic and geometric shapes in monochrome or polychrome colors defines the unique Living Space collection. The shimmering finishes (eggshell, mother-of-pearl, etc.) and unusual detailing (precious-metal accents and exotic-skin inlays) create a resolutely contemporary feel. |
